Warming up……

There’s a lot of things going on behind the scenes at the club at the moment and we’ll start sharing news later this week as they start to bubble to the surface.

Crook Town Manager Jamie Tunstall is starting to move things up a gear too and we caught up with him this week for his current thoughts as things start to warm up….

‘This has without doubt been a challenging period for all not just connected with football. I firstly, on behalf of everyone connected with the club, hope that everyone is safe and well.

The break has given both players and management team a lot of time to reflect on the last 12 months and also begin to prepare for another season.

The work behind the scenes has been first class, and I’m so grateful for the work that goes on by our invaluable volunteers.

The players have been magnificent over the course of last season and I’m really pleased the vast majority will be staying with us next year. It’s natural that with every club there are comings and goings but the club is in a really good place and I really feel the lads are well prepared for the upcoming season.

The start of pre-season training is just around the corner and everyone can’t wait to get back together!’
