The club has received confirmation that Crook Town has been awarded a
Football Foundation and Football Stadia Improvement Fund grant to assist with our pitch preparation plans ahead of the forthcoming season.
The grant will help fund the cost of 29 tonnes of top dressing sports sand being applied and brushed into the Millfield pitch playing surface.
This additional work will supplement Groundsman Ollie King’s on-going weed killing, fertilising, seeding and vertidraining aeration programme for the Millfield pitch during the closed season.
Crook Town and Ollie are very grateful for the support the Football Foundation to support Ollie’s efforts to see the Millfield at its very best for next season
