Steve Malloy

Crook striker Steve Malloy has recently had surgery on a collapsed lung. We wish him a speedy recovery and hope to see him back in a Crook Town shirt around Christmas time

We recently caught up With Crook Town Manager Colin Myers to get he thoughts on the clubs start to the season. His thoughts are honest, forthright and pulls no punches when it comes to the performances so far. The full interview will be published in the next couple of days.

Further Signing Added

Crook town would like to announce the signing of Damon Reekes from Northallerton Town. Damon scored 17 goals last season including a hatrick against Crook Town. Myers commented “Damon is a proven goal scorer at this level and it is something we need to improve on. We are creating the chances at the moment but are not finishing them”

New Signing

Crook Town would like to announce the signing of Centre Half Kieran Maughan from Darlington 1883. Myers commented ” Kieran is a young lad with lots of potential. He has a great attitude and is willing to listen and learn”

Myers Continues to Strengthen Squad

Colin Myers Continues to strengthen his squad with the signing of Wayne Whitfield from local football. Myers Commented “Wayne has a great attitude to learn and improve. he has all the basic requirements to become a good player at this level”.

Jackie Foster

It is with great sadness to hear that former Crook Town and Bishop Auckland stalwart Jack Foster has passed away. A veteran of 222 games for the club, 123 of those consecutively which is a club record. Derek Carr

It is with great sadness to hear that former Crook Town player Derek Carr has past away. He played for the club in the 1958-59 season gaining an Amateur Cup winners medal that season, with Crook beating Barnet 3-2 at Wembley. Myers Adds Third Striker to the Squad

  The club are delighted to announce the signing of highly experienced striker Sonny Andrews. The former Blyth Spartans front man was taken to Croft Park by Crook Manager Colin Myers during his time there. Sonny has also played for Spennymoor Town and Bishop Auckland.  Sonny is a proven goal scorer at every level he has played at.
