We caught up with Jamie after yesterday’s 4-2 away win at league leaders West Allotment Celtic
‘I was delighted to come away from the league leaders with 3 points. Not many teams have gone to Druid Park and got something so to take all three points shows what a good performance this was.
We’ve taken 6 points from them this year but they still remain the team at the top. The lads worked so hard and put so much effort in again, and deserve all the credit at the moment. I’m really proud of what they’re doing at the moment.
The tough games don’t stop and I don’t expect Saturday’s coming game against Billingham Synthonia to be any different.
Synners are in a good run of form themselves and when I have seen them they’ve always played well. We didn’t show up at their place and they rightly took the points so we’ll be under no illusions that we’ll have to be at our best if we want to win the game.
I’d back our boys against anyone at the minute though and it’s another game we look forward to’
