Crook climb to 2nd in the table

With only two Division Two games surviving Storm Dennis on Saturday Crook’s game away to West Allotment Celtic saw them play their game in hand on the teams around them in the league table

And they used it to great effect beating the league leaders 4-2 at Druid Park, goals from Stephenson, Gavin, Maddison amd Kent securing the three points for the Black and Ambers to see them move a point above Redcar into second place

With just 11 games left this season, and only four at Home for Crook Town, it’s set to be an exciting end to the season.

Crook play Billingham Synthonia this coming Saturday, Synners currently sit in 6th place and have won 4 of their last 5 so Jamie Tunstall’s lads expect another tough test.
